Recruitment for Miss Universe Cayman Islands 2024 kicks off on Saturday, 27th January! The committee will be accepting applications until 8 March.
This year they are implementing all of the new Miss Universe regulations, this means that there is no longer a cap on age, anyone 18+ can enter, and married women with children are also permitted to enter.
Applications Are Now Open For The Next Miss Universe Cayman Islands
According to the Miss Universe Cayman Islands Organization, applications for the 2024 Miss Universe Cayman Islands will be open from January 27 to March 8, 2024.
One of the changes for this year’s competition is that anyone aged 18 or over can apply, and there is no cap on the age. In addition, married women with children can be candidates.

After weeks of hard work preparing for the Miss Universe Cayman Islands competition finals last night, September 2, 2023, twenty-five-year-old Illean Powery of West Bay emerged as the new Miss Universe Cayman Islands.

Ileann Powery has been crowned Miss Universe Cayman Islands.
Powery, 25, of West Bay beat out four other contestants to claim the coveted crown on Saturday 2 Sept., in front of a capacity ballroom at the Westin resort.

Miss Universe Cayman Islands Chloe Powery-Doxey is not only a beauty queen, but the George Town native also rules on the basketball court as a guard on the national women’s team.
Last month, Powery-Doxey, 26, was part of the basketball team’s record-making run to a silver medal at the Island Games in Guernsey.
